Ana María Iregui is an economist from Universidad de los Andes where she also obtained an MSc in Economics. She also received an MSc in Quantitative Development Economics and a PhD in Economics from Warwick University (UK). Currently she is a Senior Research Economist at the Banco de la República (Colombia). Her current field of study is applied econometrics with emphasis on aspects of development. She is the author of several papers published in national and international books and journals. Also, she served as editor of the Journal Ensayos sobre Política Económica.
