Through the years, Banco de la República has developed a series of publications which includes a journal, working papers, and books, available now in digital formats. Also, some of them can also be found in Research Papers in Economics (RePEc) as part of a collaborative effort by many countries to improve the dissemination of research in economics.
Journals
Ensayos sobre política económica (ESPE) (Essays on Economic Policy) is a Journal that aims to publish high quality technical articles and notes on all matters of economic policy. Articles published by ESPE are noted for being interesting, original and technically correct. Therefore, the Editorial Board will consider for publication original unpublished research work, both theoretical and applied, which is relevant to a better understanding of economic problems and of the policies required for solving them, and which have not been submitted for publication elsewhere.
Working papers
This is the series of working papers from the Economic Studies Division of the Central Bank of Colombia, dedicated to disseminate the works by researchers and other collaborators of the institution.

The series of essays on regional economy (ESER) is a publication by the Regional Branches of Economic Studies Section from the Technical and Economic Information Department at Banco de la República. The works published are descriptive, and are oriented to analyzing topics on the economic situation in the different regions of the country. Their purpose is to contribute to the expansion of knowledge and providing in-depth analysis.
