Profile:

Economist with postgraduate qualifications in economics and business at Master's and Ph.D. levels from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. His research has focused on macroeconomics and public economics, with some of his papers having been published in books and local and international indexed journals. He is currently Director of the Economic Policy Research Department at Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia, BanRep) and Editor of the Review Ensayos Sobre Política Económica (ESPE).
