Profile:
José Vicente obtained his BA in economics from Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, a MS in economics from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Law from Universidad del Rosario. He has served as Head of Markets Development at Banco de la República, Director of Macroeconomic and Sectorial Analysis at Fedesarrollo and senior economist in the economic research teams of BBVA, Citibank and the Programming and Inflation Department. His research interests are focused on the formation of expectations, exchange rate dynamics, applied econometrics, macroeconomics and financial markets.
