Profile:
Diego Rodríguez is a Researcher in the Macroeconomic Modelling Department at the Banco de la República. Previously he worked as head of the macroeconomic modelling unit where he participated in the construction and implementation of models used by the central bank for policy analysis and forecasting. His research agenda focuses on the construction of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model for small open economies with monetary and fiscal policies. He also has worked as a consultant in the construction of general equilibrium models for the International Monetary Fund, the Inter-American Development Bank and several central banks in Latin America. He also has been a professor in macroeconomic theory for more than 10 years. Diego has articles published in national and international journals and conduct PhD studies at Boston University.
