Freddy Cepeda is Researcher of the Department of Financial Infrastructure Monitoring at the Central Bank of Colombia since mid-2016. In the same area, he worked as a Professional Leader from of 2010. During his career in the central bank has held various positions in the Departments of Economic Studies and Electronic Services and Payments. In the exercise of its work on issues related to payment systems, he has published various documents on topics such as the optimization and use of intraday liquidity, liquidation of foreign currency operations, and recently on the analysis of systemic risk and use Of network topology and simulation in payment systems. He holds the degrees of Business Administrator and Systems Engineer and he obtained an International Master's Degree in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona-Spain (1998). Since 1999 as professor at the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia, he has taught courses on Economic Growth and Macroeconomics
