Profile:
Fredy is a researcher at Banco de la República, with research interests in monetary policy, exchange rates, capital flows, international trade and macroeconometrics. He has been with the Bank since 2002, working in the Financial Sector area and the Monetary and International Investment Division. Fredy is a Professor in Macroeconomics at the School of Economics of the Rosario University in Bogotá. In 2015, he obtained his PhD in Economics at Warwick University in the UK, which followed a Msc degree in Economics and Econometrics from Essex University and a BA degree from Javeriana University in Bogotá.
